What is my biojewel made of?
The jewelry is made of vegetable gold, buriti silk, natural stones, seeds and nickel-free brass and 18k gold plated, therefore they are bio sustainable and hypoallergenic.
What is plant gold?
Plant gold, or Syngonanthus nitens is a species of plant in the Eriocaulaceae family and is found in humid fields in northern Brazil. Its cultivation is totally sustainable, following rules for harvesting with the aim of avoiding the extinction of the species.
What is buriti silk?
Buriti silk is obtained from the fibers extracted from the fruit of the buriti, a palm tree native to South America, mainly in northern regions of Brazil. These fibers are traditionally used in the production of local crafts, such as baskets, bags and other items, due to their strength and durability, which also contributes to their use in manufactured products. Buriti comes from the word mbiriti , of Tupi-Guarani origin, which means "tree of life."
How do plant gold and buriti reach Europe?
Plant gold, that species of plant is protected under the laws of Brazil and can only leave its natural site in the form of crafts. Lagoa BCN selects the vegetable gold pieces and the buriti directly with the more than 20 communities of artisans certified and authorized by the state of Brazil to make the biojewelry. We thus guarantee the origin, the traceability of the product and respect for compliance with these restrictions.
What natural stones are used in biojewelry?
The natural stones most used in Lagoa BCN biojewelry are Amazonite, Amethyst, Quartz, Agates, Citrine, Lazuli Pencil, Pearls, Moonstone, Howlite, Jade, Calcite, Tiger's Eye, Turquoise, Apatite, Aventurine and Sodalite.
What type of care should I take with my biojewelry?
Because they are made with natural material, we recommend that you clean them with a soft cotton cloth and do not let them come into contact with water, cream, sweat, abrasive products or excessive humidity. Avoid playing sports or going to the beach or pool with your biojewelry, this way they will last longer in perfect condition.
What type of seeds are used and where do they come from?
We use seeds from bio-protected premises, without harming nature, since the seeds are harvested after maturation. The seeds used come from trees in northern South America, from the Amazon region, and from native plants there. We use the seeds of açaí, paxiúba, jarina, buriti and jatobá, among other varieties.
Can I return my purchase?
If you are not happy with your purchase, you can return the product within 30 days of receiving the purchase, as long as it is in perfect condition and in its original packaging. To find out more about how to proceed with the return, go to the Return and refund section.
In case of return, when will I receive the refund?
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed within 14 business days.

What are the shipping times?
Shipping times may vary depending on location. For Peninsular Spain it usually takes between 48 -72 hours. For the Balearic and Canary Islands it takes between 3 - 4 business days. You can check the deadlines in the Shipping section.
Can I cancel my order?
You can make a request through Contact Form and we will check if it is possible to cancel.
We remember that if the order is already ready to be shipped or in the hands of the carrier, we will no longer be able to cancel it.
